Umeå IK har signat Ricarda Rumohr, en tysk målvakt som fram till sommaren studerar näringsvetenskap på Umeå Universitet. Då Tea Lundmark är skadad och Ella Holmberg spelklar för Luleå DFF så kommer Ricarda ha en viktig roll i vår målvaktskonstellation. Inom kort kommer en målvakt till presenteras och då komplettera vår uppsättning tillsammans med Izabelle Bardosen och Ricarda Rumohr.

Här följer en intervju med Ricarda:

Tell us about your self and your fotboll career so far.

-Soccer has been with me my whole life and I can’t imagine life without it. I started out in our village. After that, I played for MSV Duisburg for many years. There I was also able to gain experience with the Bundesliga team. Before I came to Umeå, I played for VfL Bochum in the Regionalliga (3rd division). My team will hopefully be promoted to the second division in the summer.

What kind of a goalkeeper are you?

-I am an absolute team player. I give everything to win and preferably without conceding a goal.

What are you most looking forward this upcomings months?

-I’m just looking forward to the new experiences with the team. I’m looking forward to learning a lot of new things and hopefully winning a lot of games with the team. But of course I’m also looking forward to getting to know Sweden.
